Kimberley Moore-Ballard is a dedicated community advocate, nonprofit founder, and seasoned supply chain professional with more than 30 years of experience supporting major oil and gas organizations. Throughout her corporate career, she has developed strong expertise in project management, procurement operations, time management, and collaborative team leadership skills she now applies daily to her philanthropic work through the Kimberley Kares Foundation.
Kimberley proudly serves on the Executive Board of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporated; Beta Delta Chapter and the Executive Board of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated; Gamma Sigma Chapter. She also serves on the Board of the Gamma Sigma Charitable Educational Fund. Her leadership roles across these respected organizations reflect her deep and ongoing commitment to scholarship, community impact, mentorship, and meaningful partnerships and values that are fully aligned with the mission of the Kimberley Kares Foundation.
Service has always been central to Kimberley’s journey. She has served as a PTO President, founded multiple food pantries at local churches, and spearheaded benevolence ministries focused on meeting urgent family needs. Through these leadership experiences, she witnessed firsthand the many needs that often go unmet for children and families who are under-resourced. These moments became the driving force behind establishing the Kimberley Kares Foundation, an organization created to bridge gaps one family at a time through compassion, collaboration, and practical support.
Beyond her professional and volunteer commitments, Kimberley is a proud wife of 35 years, a devoted mother of six beautiful daughters, and a loving grandmother to one granddaughter. In her personal time, she enjoys being a wine enthusiast and an enthusiastic football fan. At her core, Kimberley believes meaningful change does not always begin with large movements, it begins with helping a few families consistently, intentionally, and with heart. Kimberley Kares Foundation is a reflection of that belief: meeting real needs, building strong partnerships, and creating lasting community impact.

Beyond my role as a founder, I proudly identify as a wife, daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend to many roles that have shaped my compassion, leadership style, and unwavering commitment to service.
About the Founder
What Led Me Here
Throughout my life, I have witnessed firsthand how children's needs often go unmet even in spaces designed to support families.

Church Leadership
While serving in church leadership roles, I saw children struggling silently with hunger, lack of hygiene, and unmet emotional needs.

PTO Boards
As a member of PTO boards, I observed families doing their best but still falling short due to limited resources, unexpected hardships, or systemic gaps.

Motherhood
As a mother raising my own children and interacting with countless families, I gained a deep understanding of how quickly a family's situation can change.
These experiences made one thing clear:
"There was a need for compassionate, consistent support and I felt called to help fill that gap."
A Vision Rooted in Experience
My Vision
The work of Kimberley Kares is personal. It is informed by what I have seen, what I have lived, and what I know children need to thrive.
My vision is simple but powerful: healthy children, supported families, and stronger communities.
